Kings Norton Golf Club (KNGC), a prestigious institution founded in 1892, found itself at a critical juncture in addressing environmental sustainability. This championship golf club, set within 220 acres, incorporates 27 challenging holes and a Grade II listed hall clubhouse, providing extensive facilities. Recognising the urgent need to reduce its carbon footprint, the club embarked on an ambitious journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.

The challenge was multi-faceted: they needed to identify the primary sources of their emissions, pinpoint areas for cost reduction, and establish a strategic, targeted approach to carbon neutrality.

Our approach was not just about identifying problems but also about providing innovative, sustainable solutions. The result of our efforts together was marked by cost savings of £100k per annum and awarding the NCZ Gold Certification to Kings Norton Golf Club
