The assessments must be conducted by a qualified Lead Assessor and must take place every four years.
  5. What are the benefits of ESOS Phase 3 compliance? Complying with ESOS Phase 3 offers a range of benefits including:
    • Cost savings through identifying and implementing energy-saving measures
    • Improved energy efficiency leading to a reduced carbon footprint

    • Increased competitiveness in a market where energy efficiency is becoming increasingly important
  6. What happens if a company misses the ESOS Phase 3 deadline? Organisations that miss the ESOS Phase 3 deadline face significant financial penalties. The Environment Agency has the power to fine organisations up to £50,000 for failing to comply.
