But first, huge congratulations go to our CEO Alan Stenson, awarded “Most Influential CEO 2024” for carbon management in the region. These CEO Monthly Awards celebrate the extraordinary achievements of the World’s Most Influential CEOs, and we’re sure you’ll agree Alan’s passion and drive are unmatched in integrating sustainability into every business around the world.
As a team, we’ve also had the honour to judge the 59 Club’s first ever sustainability award as part of their recent Annual Service Awards. The competition was fierce, so well done to The Company Club, who received the UK Award, and Dubai Hills Golf Club, who took the Dubai Award.
It was great to see so many businesses in the running for these awards, proud of their commitment to sustainability and the future.

Sustainability Tip
Have you ever considered offering incentives for sustainable commuting?
Remote working may be popular, but many still commute to the office at least a few times a week, therefore, encouraging greener alternatives can make a real difference.
Why not offer subsidised public transport, or designated parking for those who carpool? There are also some great ‘bike to work’ schemes, which have a whole range of benefits for your team and the environment…

Q) What’s your claim to fame?
A) I’m very pleased of the fact that Eddie the Eagle taught me how to ski 😂 does that count as a claim to fame?
Q) If you had the opportunity to know the future, would you want to know?
A) Will my kids look back at their lives and feel blessed?
Q) What’s your go-to karaoke song?
A) No good can come from Karaoke… 😂
Q) What’s your favourite childhood memory?
A) I don’t really have a single favourite childhood memory; I do remember saying “well it seemed like a good idea at the time” whilst giggling an awful lot 😂
Q) Tea or coffee?
A) Without question, tea! Although I do have decaf these days so most people wouldn’t even consider it tea at this point…
