🌍 Powering Down Emissions: Energy Efficiency Tips for the Office

Whether you operate a large corporate office or a compact shared space, small changes can lead to substantial savings, both in energy and emissions.

Here are some practical, impactful ways your business can cut electricity use and move closer to net zero:

💡 Lighting Smarter

• Switch to LEDs: LED bulbs use up to 80% less energy and last significantly longer than traditional lighting.
• Use natural light: Where possible, make the most of daylight. It reduces the need for artificial lighting and boosts staff wellbeing.
• Install motion sensors or timers: Lights in meeting rooms, break areas, and restrooms should only be on when needed.

📊 Monitor and Measure

• Track your energy use: Smart meters and sub-meters help identify high-consumption areas and track improvement over time.
• Engage your team: Share energy data and set reduction goals. Empowering staff creates a culture of sustainability.

⚙️ Office Equipment Efficiency
