In order to reduce our impact on the environment we must first understand it. With this in mind we embarked on a best practice approach to reporting and monitoring our carbon footprint.
Having now achieved NCZ Gold Certification, which independently assesses and verifies all our organisational and operational emissions, we are now in the process of initiating our supply-chain emissions programme to achieve NCZ Platinum Certification.
This programme enables Agilité to understand the impact of our wider scope 3 emissions, and facilitates the opportunity to engage with our suppliers more effectively to report on and ultimately influence the reduction of emissions in what is the largest part of our footprint.

A little more about Neutral Carbon Zone (NCZ)
To be an NCZ Blue member your company will be:
- Signed up to the NCZ platform.
- Answered the company questionnaire in our FREE carbon calculator to enable us to model the emissions of your business using our NCZ benchmark framework.
To be an NCZ Silver certified company you will have:
- Answered the company questionnaire to enable NCZ to benchmark your company emissions.
- Received a self-certified organisational scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions report using inputted data and/ or the NCZ benchmark framework.
To be an NCZ Gold certified company you will have met Silver certification criteria plus:
- Measured, quantified, and reported on all company scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions to ISO 14064 compliance.
- Set a baseline for all organisational and operational emissions for a targeted carbon reduction approach.
To be an NCZ Platinum certified company you will have met Gold certification criteria plus:
- Established a supply-chain compliance programme.
- Agreed a carbon reduction plan/ targets and be achieving year on year reductions in emissions and supplier engagement.
